Does this step fit you?

Who is the training for?

Experienced compliance specialists, money-laundering officers and experts in demanding performance and contract cases.

What prior knowledge do you need?

In-depth knowledge of the insurance audit and experience with complete case files; knowledge recommended according to level 4.

Your concrete added value

You train the professional assessment under contradictory information and time pressure to pay. This strengthens your ability to distinguish and represent open facts, legal classification and possible ways of action.

Complex case assessment · Contradictory evidence and cross-border connections

That's what you're working on in this training.

  1. Distinguishing Claims, Roles and Influences

You reconstruct a policy with several changes and cross-border references. Policyholders, beneficiaries, assignees and economically involved persons shall be recorded separately. Different documents are weighted by content, origin and chronological order without prejudged the value of their evidence.

  2. Merge specific examination questions

You will investigate the relevant AMLR rules on beneficiaries, PEP constellations, increased risks and non-fulfillable due diligence measures. You explicitly compare the future standard with the German starting point. Any exception or additional measure adopted requires a specific justification.

  3. Formulating a Reliable Decision Template

You face several options for action and name the decisive facts. Possible reporting questions and limits to the dissemination of information are considered separately. Appropriate official case law shall be examined for its actual subject-matter and portability, where available.

Your learning goals

  • Benefits and economic interests are differentiated.
  • Inconsistency documents without pre-emptive definition.
  • Special test requirements related to sources.
  • A decision with counter-arguments and open need for clarification.

From knowledge to a well-founded case solution.

Fictional practice case · Insurance

Subsequent policy and unexplained advantage

A policy has been changed several times and has been partially relegated. There are conflicting documents on the beneficiary for the intended payment; a person involved has a foreign reference and a possible PEP status. You examine the competing statements and develop a reasoned proposal for a decision.

In focus: favouring, document contradictions and methodological consideration.

Your Exercise

Create a balancing note and explain which additional information might change your position. In the technical discussion you first represent your solution and then deal with a plausible counterposition.

Your work result and proof of participation

A differentiated decision-making proposal with sources, alternative facts, counter-arguments and concrete further verification requirements.

How this relates to your daily work

You can discuss difficult payment issues more structured between performance, legal department and compliance. The method helps to keep technical uncertainty visible and to process it in a targeted manner without pretending to have a clear answer.

Planned: 5 hours of training. With space for application.

The planned pure training time is 300 minutes. It includes knowledge transfer, application at the practice case and joint evaluation. Breaks are added. The data are planning values; we coordinate the concrete process before the training.

Your exam task

Prove your preferred approach and the strongest alternative. The evaluation will discuss the significance of your sources, the treatment of contradictory facts and the traceability of the next steps.

This is what the evaluation depends on.

  • Roles and legal issues separately
  • Counter-arguments carefully appreciated
  • Sources and need for clarification transparent

Documentation of the test performance

After completing the training, you receive a participation certificate and a participation Badge for level 5. Passing the optional assessment is additionally documented by an assessment certificate.
