Does this step fit you?

Who is the training for?

Experienced employees in compliance, KYC control, organization and group-wide AML projects.

What prior knowledge do you need?

Secure knowledge of customer testing and experience with internal banking processes; knowledge according to level 2 is recommended.

Your concrete added value

You can explain conversion needs by means of concrete processes and sharpen responsibilities between the department, compliance and group. Thus, work packages that can be verified from general reform requirements become comprehensible technical decisions.

Expert · Provide professional oversight of governance, data and external services

That's what you're working on in this training.

  1. Connect individual and group-wide tasks

You're investigating the roles of a parent company, a subsidiary bank and a branch. At the AMLR original text you will work out which questions need to be answered for group-wide risk assessment, internal procedures and information exchange in the conversion project.

  2. Consider external support in a differentiated way

You compare the outsourcing of one technical service with the use of another obliged. A process example shows why contract designation and actual activity may fall apart. You develop specific questions about responsibility, data access and professional result control.

  3. Making technical decisions verifiable

You link a risk classification to the data used, the measure taken and the relevant release. For incomplete information, updates and technical escalation, comprehensible handovers are designed. The documentation should also carry a change of editor.

Your learning goals

  • Make the customer and group level visible separately in the process.
  • External forms of performance differ according to their actual task.
  • Link technical decision, database and release.
  • Create a well-founded conversion plan with verifiable results.

From knowledge to a well-founded case solution.

Fictional practice case · Banks

Central KYC platform, decentralized customer decision

A banking group uses a central platform and an external data provider. However, subsidiaries themselves decide on customer relationships. In case of a data deviation it is unclear who demands and who releases. You develop a consistent task and control distribution.

In focus: Group requirements, external support and technical responsibility.

Your Exercise

You analyze a bank-internal process that merges data from multiple units. Develop a target image for the AMLR preparation and justify what changes in responsibilities, interfaces and controls are priority.

Your work result and proof of participation

A process and responsibility model with prioritized conversion tasks as well as comprehensible control points.

How this relates to your daily work

You will receive a methodological basis for professional project discussions and internal training. Adjustments to the data budget or systems can thus be combined with concrete test steps and expected results.

Planned: 4 hours of training. With space for application.

The planned pure training time is 240 minutes. It includes knowledge transfer, application at the practice case and joint evaluation. Breaks are added. The data are planning values; we coordinate the concrete process before the training.

Training is also possible without additional final examination. After completing your training you will receive a certificate of participation and a badge of participation. A proof of passing an examination requires successful participation in the voluntary supplementary examination.

Test format

Optional performance testing: process analysis with well-founded planning of measures.

Your exam task

Rework a new organizational constellation and defend your priorities. The evaluation will discuss whether responsibilities, access to information and control steps enable a comprehensible technical decision.

This is what the evaluation depends on.

  • Levels and tasks separated
  • External services correctly classified
  • Controls and clearances traceable

Documentation of the test performance

After completing the training, you receive a participation certificate and a participation Badge for level 3. Passing the optional assessment is additionally documented by an assessment certificate.
