We use teaching case studies based on real practical questions. Individual advice on ongoing client matters is not provided during training.

Does this step fit you?

Who is the training for?

Lawyers, law firm employees and professionals who work with the AMLR for the first time.

What prior knowledge do you need?

No AMLR prior knowledge required; experience with mandate acceptance and file installation help to get started.

Your concrete added value

You will have understandable access to the European rules without rewriting your previous practice. With new mandates, you can ask more specifically for activity, stakeholders and documents and explicitly state the correct time of examination.

Introduction · Engagement, scope of activity and date of assessment

That's what you're working on in this training.

  1. Check Today to Prepare the Conversion

You distinguish the currently relevant German GwG from the future AMLR scale. On a timeline you order entry into force and general application of the 10. July 2027 and see a practice case with a clear exam date.

  2. Capture the concrete attorney's order

You compare a process representation, a business start-up and the supervision of a real estate purchase. At the original text, you will examine the activity of the obliged group and specify which information is missing about the order before selecting a test path.

  3. Create a usable source file

You separate client, acting agent, beneficial owner and designated payer. In the training software you create a role overview, assign existing evidence and mark open information without deducing any suspicion from a gap.

Your learning goals

  • Detach the German baseline and the future AMLR application.
  • Determine the content of the mandate before selecting an audit question.
  • Identify representation, ownership and payment as different roles.
  • Create an understandable list of the documents needed first.

From knowledge to a well-founded case solution.

Fictional practice case · Lawyers

Real estate purchase with a foreign payer

A German law firm is to accompany the acquisition of a commercial property. The buyer company designates its managing director as contact person; a related company is to pay the purchase price. You present the roles and justify your first questions.

In focus: Activity, roles and cleanly defined legal status.

Your Exercise

You process three short mandate requests and decide which information is needed first. After that, you explain to your practice partner why a mere professional title is not sufficient for the selection of the test path.

Your work result and proof of participation

A brief with an examination date, a description of the activities, a summary of the participants and prioritized queries.

How this relates to your daily work

The developed structure supports an understandable handover between lawyer and law firm staff. You can specifically check existing recording forms for gaps and specify change needs for the AMLR preparation.

Live online training

Planned: 3 hours of training. With room for application.

The planned training period is 180 minutes. It includes knowledge transfer, application at the practice case and joint evaluation. Breaks are added. The data are planning values; we coordinate the concrete process before the training.

Voluntary additional option · planned +30 minutes

You decide if you're going to take an additional exam.

Training is also possible without additional final examination. After completing your training you will receive a certificate of participation and a badge of participation. A proof of passing an examination requires successful participation in the voluntary supplementary examination.

Test format

Optional performance assessment: short knowledge test and justified assignment of a new mandate case.

Your exam task

Arrange a previously unknown order and use the sources provided to determine which data you would collect first. The evaluation discusses typical confusions between client, representative and payer.

This is what the evaluation depends on.

  • Test time clearly
  • The content of the mandate is clearly classified
  • Questions of a factual nature

Documentation of the test performance

After completing the training, you receive a participation certificate and a participation Badge for level 1. Passing the optional assessment is additionally documented by an assessment certificate.

Request training with additional examination

Participation and examination performance remain recognizable.

The personal proof explicitly indicates whether the participation or a passed voluntary supplementary examination is confirmed. The badge graphic shows the industry and level of learning; it is not in itself a proof of performance.
