We use teaching case studies based on real practical questions. Individual advice on ongoing client matters is not provided during training.

Does this step fit you?

Who is the training for?

Tax advisers, tax professionals and new staff wishing to get to know the European audit framework.

What prior knowledge do you need?

No AMLR prior knowledge required; you should be familiar with typical procedures of taking up your mandate.

Your concrete added value

You will recognize which existing client data are helpful for a money laundering check and which questions are not yet answered. This makes it easier to start the transition and improves cooperation between tax consultants, clerks and clients.

Introduction · Familiar client work within the new regulatory framework

That's what you're working on in this training.

  1. Intelligibly classifying the transition

You place the German GwG and the AMLR on a timeline. The general date of application of the 10. July 2027 is distinguished from the entry into force. This makes it clear which rules are being examined today and which processes are being prepared for later.

  2. Differentiating client, contact person and owner

You work with a newly acquired group of companies. For each company, the scope of mandates, acting contact persons and ownership details are recorded separately. You check what information comes from a tax form and what statement it actually bears for the money laundering check.

  3. Use tax documents as a starting point

You look at master data, opening balance and a short business model description. From this you develop a case brief and understandable questions. The exercise shows why existing accounting data support the client's personal and economic classification, but not complete it automatically.

Your learning goals

  • Separate the future AMLR scale from today's test level.
  • Assign each mandate to the appropriate company.
  • Distinguishing contact persons, representatives and owners.
  • Add specific queries to existing documents.

From knowledge to a well-founded case solution.

Fictional practice case · Tax consultant

Three companies, one common contact

An entrepreneur wants to transfer the accounts of several companies. He uses a common brand name in conversation and only provides up-to-date documents for a company. You'll figure out which units are to be looked after and who's acting for them.

In focus: Delimitation of mandate and comprehensible use of existing tax data.

Your Exercise

You put three short client requests into the training software. Create a stakeholder overview for each request and explain which existing documents you can use and what information to collect.

Your work result and proof of participation

A structured client profile with a documented data base and a short list of open questions.

How this relates to your daily work

You can guide new clients through the recording more easily and prepare queries in a targeted manner. Colleagues receive a clearer handover because statements from tax records and unaudited client information remain clearly separate.

Live online training

Planned: 3 hours of training. With room for application.

The planned training period is 180 minutes. It includes knowledge transfer, application at the practice case and joint evaluation. Breaks are added. The data are planning values; we coordinate the concrete process before the training.

You decide if you're going to take an additional exam.

Training is also possible without additional final examination. After completing your training you will receive a certificate of participation and a badge of participation. A proof of passing an examination requires successful participation in the voluntary supplementary examination.

Test format

Optional performance test: knowledge test and short assignment task.

Your exam task

Arrange a new client case and explain your first questions. The subsequent evaluation deals with typical confusions between group of companies, individual company and contact persons.

This is what the evaluation depends on.

  • Correct classification of the examination
  • Mandates recorded separately
  • Reasonable Reasonable Questions

Documentation of the test performance

After completing the training, you receive a participation certificate and a participation Badge for level 1. Passing the optional assessment is additionally documented by an assessment certificate.

Request training with additional examination

Participation and examination performance remain recognizable.

The personal proof explicitly indicates whether the participation or a passed voluntary supplementary examination is confirmed. The badge graphic shows the industry and level of learning; it is not in itself a proof of performance.
