12 months of access from the first course start

In the self-paced course, the times are guidelines for your own learning pace.

We use teaching case studies based on real practical questions. Individual advice on ongoing client matters is not provided during training.

Does this step fit you?

Who is the training for?

Tax advisors and experienced employees in the acquisition of mandates, financial accounting and master data management.

What prior knowledge do you need?

Basic knowledge of the client examination and a clear distinction between the roles involved; comparable practical experience is sufficient for cross-entry.

Your concrete added value

You learn not only to complete data stocks, but to check content. This helps to detect changes in owners and contact persons early and prepare the later AMLR data collection so that colleagues understand the same information uniformly.

Advanced · Develop a substantiated assessment from existing information

That's what you're working on in this training.

  1. Merge master data and supporting documents

You're comparing records, commercial records and shareholder information. Each finding receives a source and a state of topicality. At the selected AMLR original text, you will examine which information will be needed in the dataset in future and where existing fields are too inaccurate.

  2. Investigate ownership

You work on participation rates, intermediary companies and special voting rights. A borderline case of exactly 25 percent is considered under separate jurisdictions. The exercise prevents pure calculation values from suppressing a necessary examination of control possibilities.

  3. Linking economic data plausibly

You face business purpose, invoices and payment information. For a deviation you formulate several possible explanations and select a suitable query. In addition, you will examine when a register deviation needs to be further processed as your own task.

Your learning goals

  • Sources and topicalities in the client file.
  • Check ownership and control separately for company mandates.
  • Compare business model and selected booking information.
  • Differentiating a deviation from their legal assessment.

From knowledge to a well-founded case solution.

Fictional practice case · Tax consultant

New partners, old master data and a foreign payer

A client company has been partially transferred. The accounting system still includes the previous owners; a consultancy bill is paid by a previously unknown company. You separate the data update from the classification of the payment process and develop appropriate queries.

In focus: Change of ownership, balance of sources and economic background.

Your Exercise

You're checking a client file with an outdated participation list and conflicting billing information. Create a prioritized list of supplements and explain what answer you really need for a certain finding.

Your work result and proof of participation

A data comparison with documented findings, documented deviations and concrete claims.

How this relates to your daily work

The method facilitates cooperation between master data management and ongoing accounting. Distinctive transactions can be handed over to the tax advisor with comprehensible facts, rather than only with an unspecific warning.

Live online training

Planned: 3.5 hours of training. With space for application.

The planned pure training time is 210 minutes. It includes knowledge transfer, application at the practice case and joint evaluation. Breaks are added. The data are planning values; we coordinate the concrete process before the training.

Voluntary additional option · planned +30 minutes

You decide if you're going to take an additional exam.

Training is also possible without additional final examination. After completing your training you will receive a certificate of participation and a badge of participation. A proof of passing an examination requires successful participation in the voluntary supplementary examination.

Test format

Optional performance test: document reconciliation with written justification.

Your exam task

Work on a new master data set and identify which findings are secured. The evaluation checks in particular whether register information, participation rates and bookings were used only for the appropriate statement.

This is what the evaluation depends on.

  • Evidence and statement fit together
  • Control issues taken into account
  • Subsequent requests formulated in concrete terms

Documentation of the test performance

After completing the training, you receive a participation certificate and a participation Badge for level 2. Passing the optional assessment is additionally documented by an assessment certificate.

Request training with additional examination
