Does this step fit you?

Who is the training for?

Compliance officers, money laundering officers and experienced employees in organization or group-wide insurance projects.

What prior knowledge do you need?

Safe knowledge of insurance roles and customer review; knowledge recommended according to level 2 or comparable experience.

Your concrete added value

You can formulate responsibilities between parent companies, insurers, sales and service providers more precisely. This creates a technically justified basis for process adjustments, data requirements and controls along the entire contract process.

Expert · Connect group responsibility, distribution and claims handling

That's what you're working on in this training.

  1. The group and its activities shall cover:

You're investigating a structure of parent companies, life insurers and other units. At the AMLR definitions and group regulations you formulate questions about classification, risk assessment and responsibility. It is not generally assumed that each unit has the same activity or task.

  2. Lead information from distribution to payout

You describe how information on policyholders, payers and beneficiaries is provided between distribution, inventory and performance. For changes, responsible persons, data source and technical control are defined. The exercise makes visible where different systems depict the same situation differently.

  3. Control external services and decisions

You examine a supporting service provider and separate technical processing from professional decision. For incomplete information, releases and group information you develop a comprehensible process. Documentation and access are considered as part of the process.

Your learning goals

  • Distinguish between the group level and the individual insurance activity.
  • In the case of contracts, it is necessary to ensure that the contract is consistent across several areas of work.
  • Connect external support with technical control.
  • Create a well-founded conversion plan for selected processes.

From knowledge to a well-founded case solution.

Central requirements and decentralised payment

A life insurer belongs to a group with a central compliance function. Sales use their own system, while a service provider prepares payouts. A change of beneficiary does not reach all stakeholders. You develop a technically controllable distribution of information and responsibility.

In focus: Group requirements and consistent processing across multiple systems.

Your Exercise

You analyse an existing process where changes to beneficiaries are recorded only in the inventory system. Develop improved task and information distribution and justify what controls should be prepared for the later AMLR application.

Your work result and proof of participation

An organisational model with roles, information channels, technical approvals and prioritized conversion tasks.

How this relates to your daily work

You can specify typical interface problems in group-wide projects. The developed approach supports discussions between compliance, department and IT because requirements are linked to a specific processing step.

Planned: 4 hours of training. With space for application.

The planned pure training time is 240 minutes. It includes knowledge transfer, application at the practice case and joint evaluation. Breaks are added. The data are planning values; we coordinate the concrete process before the training.

Exercise & Application
135 minutes
Evaluation & Transfer

If you choose the optional additional exam, come 45 minutes The planned total time with examination is then 4.75 hours, plus breaks.

The final examination is optional and takes place online. One attempt and one retake are included in the course price. Examination time is additional to learning time.

Voluntary additional option · planned +45 minutes

You decide if you're going to take an additional exam.

Training is also possible without additional final examination. After completing your training you will receive a certificate of participation and a badge of participation. A proof of passing an examination requires successful participation in the voluntary supplementary examination.

Test format

Optional performance test: Organisation case with justified target process.

Your exam task

Develop a process for a new group constellation and explain control points and responsibilities. In the evaluation, it is checked whether the required information is available in the correct processing step.

This is what the evaluation depends on.

  • Activities and levels differentiated
  • Accessible to information
  • Technical control anchored

Documentation of the test performance

After completing the training, you receive a participation certificate and a participation Badge for level 3. Passing the optional assessment is additionally documented by an assessment certificate.
