We use teaching case studies based on real practical questions. Individual advice on ongoing client matters is not provided during training.

Does this step fit you?

Who is the training for?

Experienced employees in contract service, performance processing, sales and compliance of life insurers.

What prior knowledge do you need?

A clear distinction between the roles of the contract and the basic knowledge of the money laundering audit, with appropriate professional experience enabling cross-border entry.

Your concrete added value

You will recognize which information should be recorded at the request and which additional clarification is required in the later course of the contract. This supports the preparation of consistent data fields and reduces unclear commits before a payout.

Advanced · The right information at the right processing stage

That's what you're working on in this training.

  1. Build up beneficiary information in a comprehensible manner

You compare named beneficiaries with a destination by characteristics or category. On the AMLR original text you work out which information is required at the respective contract stage. Existing recording masks are checked for understandable roles and comprehensible evidence.

  2. Consider changes and disbursements as own audit events

You order a change of beneficiary, a cession and a modified payment method along the course of the contract. For each variant, you will determine which previous finding can be used and which information needs to be re-examined.

  3. Categorising PEP notes to beneficiaries

You will examine a possible reference to a politically exposed person and read the special regulations for insurance policies. A name-same run is first clarified. After that you describe the required technical transfer and separate the hint from the justified classification.

Your learning goals

  • In order to distinguish between beneficiaries' data by type of destination.
  • Connect the contract stage and the necessary information.
  • Requests and changes are structured.
  • Clarification of possible PEP notes and technical disclosure.

From knowledge to a well-founded case solution.

Fictional practice case · Insurance

From the family clause to the specific beneficiary

A policy shall first identify a group of beneficiaries. Before the intended payment, specific persons are named; a possible PEP note appears for one person. You check the available information and develop a well-founded list of further processing steps.

In focus: Beneficiary determination, identity clarification and PEP verification context.

Your Exercise

You're working on an amendment and a later payment request. The information provided at what time and which evidence is missing. Prove the order of your queries based on the provided training sources.

Your work result and proof of participation

A comprehensible audit plan for beneficiary change and payment with clear document allocation.

How this relates to your daily work

The exercise supports a better coordination between inventory and performance. You can explain more precisely why an already known contract number does not automatically answer all questions about a new beneficiary or payee.

Planned: 3.5 hours of training. With space for application.

The planned pure training time is 210 minutes. It includes knowledge transfer, application at the practice case and joint evaluation. Breaks are added. The data are planning values; we coordinate the concrete process before the training.
