Does this step fit you?

Who is the training for?

For tax advisers, career starters and law firm employees in client admission, financial accounting or preparatory material processing.

What prior knowledge do you need?

No GwG prior knowledge required; basic knowledge of typical mandate and accounting procedures is helpful.

Your concrete added value

You can recognize missing master data and proofs earlier and prepare queries specifically. The training provides a common starting point between client intake, accounting team and responsible tax consultant.

Systematically record the client, the engagement and the documents

That's what you're working on in this training.

  1. Contract and obligation framework

You classify typical activities of a tax consultancy firm and work with § 2 para. 1 Nr. 12 GwG. In a reception interview, you distinguish between professional mandates, commissioned services and responsibilities within the law firm team.

  2. Client information and evidence

You're looking at a mandate agreement, registry data, and a proxy. You will learn to distinguish between collection and verification of the information and to understand the questions about client, person and economically eligible person on a recording sheet.

  3. Maintaining first abnormalities

You compare the details from the interview with a first invoice and a payment note. Inconsistencies are formulated as queries and passed on internally; possible reporting questions and professional secrecy are classified as separate technical examinations.

Your learning goals

  • Clearly merge client and commissioned services.
  • Distinguish between the company, its representative and the beneficial owner in the example.
  • Document required information and existing evidence separately.
  • Prepare unclear documents factually for the tax advisor.

From knowledge to a well-founded case solution.

Fictional practice case · Tax consultant

An entrepreneur with three companies

An entrepreneur wants to transfer the accounting of several companies. Contact persons and invoice recipients change during the interview. Arrange the individual mandates, distinguish representatives and companies and name the information that needs to be reviewed before further evaluation.

In focus: Develop a clear client structure from conversation and recording documents.

Your Exercise

You complete the master data of a fictitious client file and assign each indication of its source. You then formulate specific questions about missing documents.

Your work result and proof of participation

A comprehensible recording sheet with a documentation overview and points to be clarified internally. After completing the training, you receive a participation certificate and a participation Badge for your sector and level.

How this relates to your daily work

You train an orderly introduction to new mandates and understandable handovers to further material processing. At the same time, you can see what information a mere knowledge of the client does not replace.

Live online training

Planned: 3 hours of training. With room for application.

The planned training period is 180 minutes. It includes knowledge transfer, application at the practice case and joint evaluation. Breaks are added. The data are planning values; we coordinate the concrete process before the training.

Voluntary additional option · planned +30 minutes

You decide if you're going to take an additional exam.

Training is also possible without additional final examination. After completing your training you will receive a certificate of participation and a badge of participation. A proof of passing an examination requires successful participation in the voluntary supplementary examination.

Test format

Optional examination: knowledge questions and new client intake

Your exam task

You work on an independent recording example, arrange the participants and create a well-founded list of missing information and evidence.

This is what the evaluation depends on.

  • Mandates and stakeholders properly separated
  • Information and evidence mapped in a comprehensible way
  • Questions and internal competence designated

Documentation of the test performance

After passing the optional assessment, you receive a record of achievement for this level explicitly identified as an assessment credential.
