Does this step fit you?

Who is the training for?

For tax advisers, money laundering officers and senior staff with experience in the ongoing mandate management.

What prior knowledge do you need?

Secure foundations and experience with conflicting mandate documents; advanced level or comparable knowledge.

Your concrete added value

You can hand over unclear transactions specifically to the responsible tax advisor or money laundering officer. The draft decision shows which information is reliable and which legal or actual questions have to be decided separately.

Connect document review, confidentiality and professional decision-making

That's what you're working on in this training.

  1. Facts and sources of information

You assign findings from accounting, client discussion and additional advice in a timely and objective manner. In doing so, you will examine whether a declaration is supported by documents and the significance of the specific activity context for further legal examination.

  2. Differentiate the reporting test

You work with § 43 para. 1 and 2 GwG as well as the relevant board instructions. In the case of exercise, basic facts, possible exceptions and their limits are considered separately; the assessment is based on specific information and sources.

  3. Internal decision-making and communication

You make a note for the responsible professional and check planned queries on the prohibition of information sharing. At the same time, you are developing a comprehensible process between clerks, tax advisers and, where appropriate, money laundering officers, without equalizing their tasks.

Your learning goals

  • In this context, it is important to consider the following points:
  • To investigate the underlying principles of reporting and occupational exceptions independently.
  • Separate necessary information from a final decision.
  • Create a professional handover with an audited communication question.

From knowledge to a well-founded case solution.

Fictional practice case · Tax consultant

Repeated cancellations and subsequent explanations

In a client accounting system, cancellations and disparate payment assignments occur repeatedly. The first explanation will be added later. If the facts are to be presented, examine the context of the activity and explain which reporting and communication issues have to be examined separately.

In focus: Link recurring accounting abnormalities with information origin and reporting verification.

Your Exercise

You evaluate two different explanations of a client and write a draft decision that discloses information origin, counter-arguments and still necessary technical clarification.

Your work result and proof of participation

A differentiated reporting audit report with a factual basis, sources, communication audit and designated internal competence. After completing the training, you receive a participation certificate and a participation Badge for your sector and level.

How this relates to your daily work

You try to handle sensitive processes in a tax consultancy firm. The focus is on a comprehensible preparation of the decision and on avoiding unfounded conclusions from individual accounting deviations.

Planned: 4 hours of training. With space for application.

The planned pure training time is 240 minutes. It includes knowledge transfer, application at the practice case and joint evaluation. Breaks are added. The data are planning values; we coordinate the concrete process before the training.

Training is also possible without additional final examination. After completing your training you will receive a certificate of participation and a badge of participation. A proof of passing an examination requires successful participation in the voluntary supplementary examination.

  • Handover and communication clearly justified
