Your concrete added value
That's what you're working on in this training.
Understanding ownership and control You're tracking a multi-level corporate structure based on register records and client information. The exercise combines the examination of economically eligible persons with the question whether information is complete, up-to-date and verifiable by appropriate documents. Comparing purpose and method of payment You face commissioned activity, transaction purpose and intended payment method. Different payers or intermediate companies are examined on the basis of possible explanations; from each remaining gap you develop a concrete, case-related question. Documenting the scope of the examination You compare general, simplified and increased due diligence on selected cases. For the exercise case, you justify the measures considered and determine which risk information or evidence is still missing for the final classification.
Your learning goals
Merge ownership and control information from several documents. To investigate the contradictions between the purpose of the mandate and the way in which it is paid. Compare the requirements of different due diligence obligations on the original text. To combine queries and risk assessment in an understandable note.
From knowledge to a well-founded case solution.
