Does this step fit you?

Who is the training for?

For experienced lawyers, money-laundering agents and professional contact persons in law firms.

What prior knowledge do you need?

Secure knowledge of the mandate review and risk assessment; advanced level or comparable experience.

Your concrete added value

You can prepare a difficult question in such a way that the competent law firm's function detects factual basis, sources and open decision points. Flat-rate appeals to secrecy are replaced by a targeted, comprehensible audit.

Prepare assessment decisions supported by robust reasoning

That's what you're working on in this training.

  1. Origin of information and context of mandate

You order information according to when, by whom and in connection with what activity they became known. In different mandates, you check the importance of this assignment before assessing a possible exception or further action.

  2. Reporting verification with exceptions and limits

You process § 43 para. 1 and 2 GwG on the original text and demarcates questions of obliged property from it. In a case variation you examine which additional fact changes the legal examination and why the exact level of knowledge must be documented.

  3. Communication and decision-making

You will investigate the prohibition of information sharing and legal exceptions based on planned discussion content. Then you formulate an internal decision template with options for action, responsibilities and open questions; an explained evaluation makes justification gaps visible.

Your learning goals

  • In this context, it is important to stress the need for a common approach to information.
  • separate verification of the reporting underlying event, exceptions and withdrawals.
  • Investigate planned information transfer at the relevant legal framework.
  • Create a decision-making note with clear limits of evaluation.

From knowledge to a well-founded case solution.

New information shortly before enforcement

In a company mandate, conflicting information on the financing is announced shortly before completion. Parts come from consulting discussions, others from transaction documents. Arrange the sources of information and explain which issues need to be decided separately for care, reporting and communication.

In focus: To examine the source of information and scope of occupational exceptions in the concrete mandate.

Your Exercise

You compare two variants of an ongoing advisory mandate. For each variant you justify the necessary examination steps and formulate an appropriate internal transfer.

Your work result and proof of participation

A differentiated proposal on reporting, confidentiality and further action in the concrete mandate context. After completing the training, you receive a participation certificate and a participation Badge for your sector and level.

How this relates to your daily work

You practice the professional preparation of sensitive law firm decisions. The focus is on clean factual work, appropriate source allocation and communication, whose legal requirements have been explicitly examined.

Planned: 4 hours of training. With space for application.

The planned pure training time is 240 minutes. It includes knowledge transfer, application at the practice case and joint evaluation. Breaks are added. The data are planning values; we coordinate the concrete process before the training.
